Rosy Roberts is a physical performer, acrobat and theatre-maker based in Bristol.
She studied medicine before realising that operating theatres have neither spotlights (at least, not aimed at her face) nor adoring crowds. So she decided to swap the stethoscope for the stage. She then trained at Circomedia, specialising in acrobatics. She has a diverse range of professional experience that encompasses street theatre, cabaret, big top circus, kids shows, storytelling, performance art, motion capture, corporate events, film and festivals. She works in both the indoor and outdoor sectors & performs both solo work and as part of an ensemble. Rosy's training includes: - acrobatics (including hand-to-hand) and acrobalance - rope - aerial hoop - physical theatre, clown and mask work - dance and choreography - street theatre, walkabout and stilts Rosy is versatile.
